School Festival
Sep. 26th, 2007 12:08 amBeginning next Monday (Oct 1), we will begin preparations for our school festival. This is the first year that Ryuhana has hosted an event such as this -- but then, it's also the first year we've had enough students to pull it off successfully.
You'll be working with your training group to develop an attraction (for the festival, not each other, but of course I can't stop it if that should happen~ ♥). Be creative. Use your skills. I won't be any more specific than that, but I will answer questions if you have them.
The schedule is as follows:
Oct 1 - Oct 5: Planning
Oct 6: Deadline for submitting your group's plan*
Oct 8 - Oct 19: Preparations - During these weeks, you will meet with your training group instead of your homeroom class to develop your plan. The rest of the academic (and training) day will proceed as normal.
Oct 22 - Oct 25: Building - During this week, we won't have academic classes. You'll be using that time instead to put everything together and finalize for the performances.
Oct 26 - Oct 28: Performance. The festival will last from 10am to 5pm, Friday through Sunday. It won't be publicized, but we'll be inviting our students' friends and families to come participate and see what we've done.
Classes will resume as normal on Oct 29.
On Wednesday, Oct 31, Ryuhana Gakuen will be holding a formal dinner and auction for our benefactors. It will, naturally, be Halloween-themed. I would certainly appreciate any students who'd be willing to donate their time for this cause: as waiters, ushers, decorators, set-up crew, janitorial staff, etc. You might get extra credit~
Best of luck,
Hanamura Aoi
Headmistress
Ryuhana Gakuen
[ooc: *Obviously, you don't have to come up with a detailed plan of how you're going to set stuff up and when and where and who's doing what - but it would be cool to have a general idea of what your group's going to do. I realize these guidelines are really vague but that's on purpose - she really does want them to be creative. Of course these training groups aren't the only four participating, since there are NPCs and NPC groups, but we'll worry about that later. :) As always, any questions, feel free to e-mail or IM either me or Ali.]
