Ryuhana Campus
Sep. 15th, 2005 10:07 pmMore information! :D
This time, about the Ryuhana school grounds.

It isn't a very large campus, and my crude map is not to scale.
The grey area above the sports center contains outdoor things, like the track and tennis court(s); inside there's a fitness center/weight room and a general gymnasium. It is very benign and unsuspicious.
The building housing the classrooms has three above-ground floors, which for all intents and purposes look like a very ordinary high school. There are classrooms, science labs, an art studio, a music room, etc, etc. The basement contains the special training room (ie, Danger Room, but not as high-tech).
The medical center is just that.
The building marked "primary offices" also contains the headmistresses' apartments and the Cerebro-like computer used to find mutants, along with department offices and campus security. Other faculty live off-campus.
The library is also fairly standard.
The cafeteria is attached to the dormitory building, and is, predictably enough, on the boys' side. The dorm building is split down the center, with boys' rooms on the south side and girls' on the north. The west side of the building is the new wing. The original building is two floors; the new wing is technically four, with the lower level of the new wing devoted to a state-of-the-art kitchen for student use and a general rec room / den. (So the 'third floor' of the new wing is actually the fourth.) All of the rooms in the original building are singles, though the rooms along the narrower sides of the new wing are doubles.
The campus is fairly heavily wooded near the south entrance, with a driveway (not pictured, because I'm a dork) leading to the primary offices, where new students are dealt with and paperwork is filled out, blah, blah, blah. There is also a security gate at the entrance, with a fence around the campus perimeter.
Any other questions, just ask, and I'll do my best to answer.
I really hope I'm not forgetting something this time.

Date: 2005-09-16 05:40 pm (UTC)Ryuhana is pretty much like the Japanese boarding school seen in some animes and games (Refer more closely to the Rival Schools games, or the "boarding school murder" three-parter of Detective School Q). So, following such examples, does this mean the students are required to wear a school uniform in the school grounds, with only the dorms as exception? If so, which kind of uniforms are kind-of references: the typical seifuku aka sailor suit for girls and the military-like uniforms for boys (think Fudomine, and to some extent Seigaku), or it'll have more personalized uniforms (think Hyoutei or Rikkaidai)?
Thanks in advance!
