RP log: An/Sakuno
Aug. 23rd, 2005 08:40 pmDated: 17 August.
Rating: G, PG at the very most.
Summary: The girls decide on their relationship. Be careful not to rot your teeth on the sugary sweetness. Oh yes, and it's short.
Sakuno quickly closed her laptop after being reminded about the coming over part and then commenting in return, chewing on her lip nervously, she wondered what she would say, knowing An liked her and actually going over there to tell her the same was a rather big thing..
Hopefully it would go okay and whispering a quick wish to not stuff it up, Sakuno pulled on her gloves and left her room, padding across the hall to An's room and knocking before she could think about it (well, over-think it and vanish or run back to her room to hide).
Swinging the door open as soon as she heard Sakuno's knock, An braced herself for a caffeine-high (though probably still adorable) girl, and was mildly surprised to find her looking so shy. Not that she minded of course, Sakuno's blush (the one, apparently, only she ever got to see) was pretty no matter what she was feeling.
Ushering her friend in, An shut the door and leaned against it, smiling bemusedly, "You wanted to talk about something?"
Oh, okay. Seemed to be launching straight into it then, she still wasn't sure what to say without disappearing (and as it was, Sakuno felt like her cheeks were on fire though thankfully, she wasn't already fading, seemed to take a lot more then just blushing around An for some reason). "Oh, um... Uh. Y-yes. Talking." Nodding slowly, she glanced up from studying the floor and took a deep breath, letting in out in a flood of words - "I read your comments to Dan-kun about how you like me and I really like you too and I wasn't really sure if you were joking or if you were serious about it so I decided to come over here and ask and tell you that I do like you a lot if you like me that way as well and I really really hope you do..."
Blinking slightly, her mind taking a few moments to digest the flood of words, An waited. The silence after Sakuno's confession was almost deafening, and the half-hopeful, half-afraid look on the younger girl's face tugged at An's heart.
Slowly, not entirely sure she'd heard correctly, a smile spread across An's face. "I wouldn't lie to Dan-kun," she assured gently, "I like you. No, that's not right. I more than like you," one hand reached up slowly to brush across a warm, soft cheek, making sure Sakuno was looking at her, "I think I might be in love with you." And she leaned in, pressing their lips together briefly before moving back again. She didn't want to scare Sakuno after all.
Breathing a sigh of relief at that, that it was returned and true, just knowing that made Sakuno's heart soar and with those words and the brief fleeting feel of lips brushing against hers, well, she never thought she'd come back down to earth (and she was pretty sure she was glowing red by now). "I um, think I more then like you as well, An-chan." Hesitating a moment, she decided to take another risk (thanks to the caffeine still running in her veins) and leaned up to press her own lips against An's, reaching out to steady herself with An's shoulders, it was more lingering then the first and it finally sunk home, her first kiss, her first crush, her first love.
Arms instinctively wrapping around Sakuno, An pulled away again to rest their foreheads together. She was sure the smile she wore looked pretty idiotic, and went well with Sakuno's fiery blush, but she really didn't care. "I'm glad," she whispered, feeling the weather outside their little bubble brighten considerably.
