Rating: PG-ish for language
Summary: Shishido runs into Kaidoh on his way to pick up Ohtori. Words are exhanged. >>;

Shishido was walking past the main entrance when he caught sight of the welcome placard there. He paused and took a moment to look himself over. Yes, his hair was still good. He seemed to be spending an awfully large amount of time on his appearance today, even by his standards. Pushing that thought out of his mind, he rounded the corner of the school until he was at the more secluded back area of the property. Here, he could shed his coat and fly over the top of the fence without being caught.

Landing on the other side of the fence, with only minimum arm flapping involved, Shishido decided not to bother putting the coat back on for now as he would just have to fly up to Ohtori's window in a few moments. Walking across the emerald lawn he spotted someone out of the corner of his eye and quickly moved behind a large but ugly shrub. Was that? No, his luck could not be this off today. Well, he did want to speak to him. "Oi, Kaidoh!" Shishido said stepping out from behind the plants.

Kaidoh had finally gotten sick of being cooped up inside. And although he was not currently allowed off the school campus, there was no rule that said he wasn’t allowed outdoors on the premises. He’d decided to take a walk to clear his thoughts and just get some fresh air, because he needed it badly.

He was rounding the main building, hands hooked carefully on the pockets of low-riding shorts (so as not to catch and rip on the stupid, stupid bones on his hips), when he heard someone call his name. He stopped, looking up – he didn’t recognize the voice. And where was it coming from? He finally spotted someone step out from behind a shrub – someone with very large, white wings. Shishido.

He blinked. “Huh? What the hell do you want? Wh-?” He was going to ask what the other was doing here, but he suddenly remembered Ohtori-kun’s mention of an outing with Shishido today. He supposed that must be why the other was here.

"Woah!" Shishido said in surprise before he could stop himself. Kaidoh seemed to look worse than he usually did. Were those bones coming out of his hips? Shishido leaned forward a bit to get a better look, the other was hideous, but he couldn't stop looking at him. He had to focus though, he wanted to find out just what Kaidoh thought he would get out of dating Ohtori, like any good older friend would do, right? "That's what I want to know from you. What are your intentions with Ohtori?" His wings ruffled up behind him, fanning slightly in the hopes that he might appear a bit bulkier than he was. And did he just use the word intentions? He had to stop watching late night sitcom reruns.

Kaidoh blinked. And flushed. First of all, the other was staring at him like… well, okay. He knew he looked like a bigger and better freakshow attraction than he usually did, what with the stuff on his hips and his back and he could barely wear clothes properly anymore. But that wasn’t the half of it. “Intentions?” he repeated, feeling further heat rush into his cheeks. “Wh-what the hell do you mean?” Wait – did Shishido know? “What do you mean – I’m not going to do anything to him,” he said quickly.

"Don't you already have your pervert friend sending Ohtori porn, trying to get him used to the idea before you jump him?" Shishido accused wildly, he would not believe the jagged boy in front of him just wanted an innocent relationship. "Although I suppose intimacy might be hard with those things," Shishido indicated the more vicious looking spikes, "sticking out of you, but a guy can dream right." Was that really his mouth saying that? He didn't mean to make it sound so mean. Maybe if he added on to it a bit.

"It's just you're not that soft, and soft things are good. Well not always good, but in more intimate situations they're good, well except… you know" Shishido paused just long enough to raise an eyebrow before continuing his rant, "although just because you want to be like that doesn't mean Ohtori does. So you shouldn't push him, or even suggest it." Great, in the process to make him sound like less of a mutant bigot he was now a rambling lunatic. All he wanted was to tell Kaidoh to keep his hands, lips and rest of his body to himself. But with that look he was getting, maybe it was best if he was just quiet. Shishido spread his wings out a bit further, flapping them in a hopefully evil and not fidgeting manner.

Kaidoh just stared at the winged boy as he went on, trying to make sense of the words. Well, he supposed they made sense… but where on earth had Shishido gotten some of those ideas? Most were just plain wrong. Maybe a few were blown massively out of proportion. And the only thing that seemed to make sense was that yes, Kaidoh did have large, ugly, sharp pieces of bone growing out of his skin (against his will), and he damned well knew it and didn’t like to be reminded of it. Especially not by someone who looked like that. Who was still staring at him with clear horror behind his gaze.

He decided to start at the beginning as the wings before him flapped for a moment, blowing warm air past his face. “I do not have a perverted friend sending Ohtori-kun… whatever, so I don’t know where you got that stupid idea,” he said hotly. “And I would never j-jump him,” he said, feeling the flush deepen even as he just said the words, let alone thought about what that really meant. “I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about or where you got any of those ideas, but they’re just wrong.” The very idea that he would do anything to hurt Ohtori offended him beyond measure. And it cut, too, because he already had, and the tall mutant had a pale scar on one shoulder to prove it.

"Fine," Shishido huffed, relenting that he may have gotten a bit carried away, but he still had one more thing he absolutely must drive into Kaidoh's head before he could rest in peace. "But if you so much as harm one hair on his head, make him cry one tear over you, make him doubt himself, or give him one hour of a sleepless night, I will personally help you with that bone problem." In the most painful fashion he could think up. And sure, it wasn't that much of a threat considering their size difference but the look in his eyes said he meant business and that should be enough to have Kaidoh think twice about doing anything stupid.

"I would never hurt him!" Kaidoh insisted quickly. What was this idiot getting at? The whole point of being with Ohtori-kun was mostly to avoid all of that - he still hoped that if the silver-haired mutant knew someone cared, he would be less likely to do something stupid like run away or hurt himself (intentionally or unintentionally). Well, that and the fact that Kaidoh just... really liked being with him. It was a strange feeling, and one that was confusing and fleeting at times, but he really did enjoy the other boy's company. A lot.

Unlike this boy's, right now. He glared at the angry eyes pinning him with a serious glare, trying to seem confident of himself despite the fact that he was still a bit shaken by this entire outburst. "L-look - It's none of your damn business, so you just stay out of it. I won't hurt him," he repeated, hoping beyond hope that it was true. "Was that all?" He desperately wanted to get away from this boy and his wild accusations, and the sooner the better.

"Better not." Shishido said with one last attempt at looking frightening before deflating a bit. "And I guess that's all." He really had nothing else to say, and mentally reviewing what he did say, he wondered what he was thinking. Too late now. Folding his wings behind him, he dusted off his shirt before giving Kaidoh a strained smile. "I need to get going, I wouldn't want to be late to the movies." He turned sharply causing his hair to sway behind him. He may not have been able to stop the two from dating but he would do his best to make sure that Kaidoh never hurt the kid – even if it did make him appear insane.

“I won’t,” Kaidoh said one last time, hotly, though inside he felt anything but sure. Dammit. What if he really was the monster everyone made him out to be? And he didn’t know it? Dammit again. Well. He’d just have to… deal with it later.

“Right,” he growled, watching the other turn to leave. “You treat him well too.” He seriously hoped that Shishido was not as rude to Ohtori as he was to himself. Or he’d never forgive the birdbrain. As the other began to leave, he turned and decided that he suddenly wanted to go in the opposite direction. Very badly. He had a lot to think about. And none of it pleasant. Dammit all a third time.
